An Elders’ Meeting. . . will be held today at 11:30 a.m.

 

Fellowship Lunch. . . will be held today following Divine Service. 

 

Matins. . . will be held on Tuesday, October 15, at 9:00 a.m. 

 

Evening Bible Study. . . will be held on Tuesday, October 15, at 7:00 p.m.  Everyone is encouraged to attend Bible Study.

 

Morning Eucharist. . . will be held on Thursday, October 17, at 9:00 a.m. 

 

Men’s Study. . . will be held on Saturday, October 19, at 8:00 a.m.

 

What About? . . . Our culture challenges and defies the biblical beliefs of Christianity. In our East Narthex (next to the mailboxes), there are simple pamphlets that faithfully provide you with biblical answers and proof for the things we believe, and why we believe them. Topics include: Abortion; Being a Lutheran; Christian Families; Creation and Evolution; Living Together without Marriage; and several more. These pamphlets are free for the taking.

 

Reformation Oktoberfest. . . at Immanuel will be held Sunday, October 27.  Hay rack ride, games and pumpkin decorating hosted by the Board of Christian Education will begin at 4:30 p.m.  Dinner is at 5:30 p.m. The Board of Parish Fellowship will provide brats, hamburgers, and all the fixings for them. A Thrivent Action Team Grant will pay for the meat.  Members are asked to bring a side dish and/or dessert. One with a German heritage will add to the theme.

Trinity Lutheran Church (Murdock). . . is sponsoring a Soup Dinner on November 3rd (a Sunday), 11:30am - 1:30pm. All are invited to come and enjoy a time of Christian fellowship and good food.
